After a long courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease, Vascular Dementia and Diabetes. Dearly loved partner to Eileen, brother to Billy, John and Agnes (deceased) & Mary (deceased) brother in law and uncle. Beloved dad to Paula & Lorna, dear father in law to Carl and much loved grandad to Jimmy, Ronnie & Lorne. God gives his hardest battles to his toughest soldiers. You never complained and were so very brave until the end, our warrior. You never said I'm leaving, You never said goodbye. You were gone before I knew it, And only God knew why. A million times I needed you, A million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you, You never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, In death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place, That no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home. We wish we could love you back to life. You'll be forever in our hearts. God bless you always.
